Welcome to my blog which I have called overcrowded earth. Its about this very real topic, that might be difficult to understand for some. I have travelled a lot, and I think I know the truth. Some people believe that there is room for many more of us in the world. They claim we need to populate the Americas further because its such a huge continent. They want to do it in a controlled, almost fascist way. In this blog I will show you the evidence, that there are enough humans, and that the female political movements also need to consider an attitude change away from population growth and power, but more in the direction of the youth movement of the 1960`s and summer of love. Im going to illustrate the mega cities of the world, and as an addition I will resort to some statistics. To make things more interesting I will add some pictures from the mega cities in which I will focus on what people do in their leisure time.
Heres a video from Colombias capital Bogota. Bogota is a city middle America, but its truly tropical. Its probably smaller than Mexico City, but still densely populated. Take another look:
So I hope you enjoy the blog since we should remember that its way easier to see the world from a drone, than fly there. Enjoy:
This is my brother which you might now from my previous blog which I called travellingthephilippines.org.

This link will give you 24 hour view of the Asian cities that I write about later in this blog. Its sometimes easier to judge how many people there is when we compare night to day to add some contrast.
24 Hour megacities
Im not really out to give you a lesson in geography. I just mad ethis blog because I want to communnicate who I am, and what Im about. More importantly however is that I think people should go for an expat experience sooner than later. With that I mean living in a foreign country for a while. So many people just go to a hot country and never see beyond the tourist areas. Check the posts I made on my other blog: mortenakoblog.blogspot.com . I made this blog because as I have told you, a psychologist told me, that I should leave my travels behind me and forget about them. I travelled to The Philippines in 2006-2008, then London for 3 months, then Oslo for a month, then Manila for 3 months, then Copenhagen for 3 months, then Hong Kong for 3 months, then Oslo for 4 months, then Copenhagen for 3 months, then Bangkok for 3 months. Ive since been to Nice, Bangkok, Kualu Lumpur, Ho chi Minh, Alanya, Val Thorens, Berlin, Lubeck, Kassel , Frankfurt, Munich, Dubai, London again, Oslo for 3 months, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Rome, Athens, Loutraki, Terracina. Bergen. Thats why Im a member of the well travelled clube(danish group). I used to use Lonely Planet. Im going to link to world nomads website so you can get on interesting hikes and treks i remote countries. But first check out a nice resort in the Philippines, my favourite country.

Whe I lived in the Philippines I had a reationship with this girl, who was a Filipina. We went on a trip together in the province and shared some nice experiences in a small hut there. Ive included the pictue where she is osing so that you can see the amazing scenery and what our trip was like, all the way out of Manila and a few rides furthe until we could relax and enjoy each othes company. This is what it looked liked for us back then, some 5 years ago. We stay in touch but we I live in Sweden and she is in the Philippines.
Here is a picture of me in my judo uniform. I joined the team to be part of something in the university. It was exciting and I met interesting people there. I met my girlfriend thee because her father is the leader of the national team, and is very succesfull in this olympic sport. I trained with the national team in the Philippines for 15 months.
Im from Denmark originally where the lifestyle is very different. I have quite a few hobbies, if Im not mmeting people or just visit Copenhagen. One of them is to play Xbox or computer games, but I also like to listen to music. This blog is also a way of communicating what my personality is like, since I havent met many peers for some years since I became an early retire and as many others decided to do some art describing something I believe people want to know about. For me that means travels and lifestyle. I hope you enjoy the blog and consider my first blog mortenakoblog.blogspot.com!
